This policy explains how Ensource One LLC, doing business as Circl Atl (“Circl”, “we”, “us”), handles information about you when you use Circl, the Atlanta events site at circlatl.com, and its weekly email. Questions? Email support@ensourceone.com.
Information we collect
When you browse
You don't need an account to browse events. When you visit:
- Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and a few actions in aggregate, such as opening the map, saving an event, or the interest categories picked during sign-up. These records don't include your name, email or account. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites. Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to operate and secure the service.
- Your browser. The event feed remembers your filters and scroll position for the current tab (in your browser's session storage, which clears when you close the tab).
When you create an account
You can sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email. We store:
- Account details: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, the name and profile photo on your Google account. You can change your display name on your profile.
- Preferences: the interests, vibes and kinds of events you choose during onboarding or on your preferences page, including types of events you'd rather not see.
- Activity: events you save or mark as going, and feedback you give after an event (whether you went and how much you enjoyed it).
- Email settings: whether you've subscribed to the weekly email, and a record of which weekly emails we've sent you.
The waitlist
If you joined the pre-launch waitlist, we stored the email address you gave us.
How we use it
- To run your account and its features, like saved events and My Events.
- To recommend events: Curate and the weekly email suggest events based on your preferences, saved events and feedback.
- To send the weekly email if you've subscribed, and sign-in emails when you request them.
- To keep Circl secure and working, for example limiting how often certain actions can be repeated.
- To understand, in aggregate, which features people use, so we can improve them.
We don't sell your personal information. Circl shows ads to help pay for the service; see Advertising below for how they work and your choices.
Who can see your information
Your profile, preferences, saved events and feedback are visible only to you. Event pages show how many people have saved an event, as a number, without names.
Service providers
We use these companies to run Circl. They process information only to provide their service to us.
- Supabase: database and sign-in. Stores your account, preferences and activity.
- Vercel: hosting, analytics and performance measurement.
- Google: sign-in, if you choose “Continue with Google”.
- OpenAI: generates event recommendations and event summaries. For recommendations we send your stated preferences and the titles, categories and ratings of events you've saved or reviewed, but not your name, email address or account ID.
- Resend: sends the weekly email and receives your email address and the email's content to deliver it.
- Mapbox: provides the maps. When you open a map, your browser requests map images from Mapbox, which receives your IP address and the area being viewed.
- Upstash: rate limiting. Stores short-lived counters keyed to your account, or to your IP address for some unsubscribe requests.
- Google AdSense: shows ads on some pages. See Advertising.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of Circl, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
Links to other sites
Event pages link to ticket sellers and organizers, such as Eventbrite and Meetup. Some of these links include a referral code. Once you leave Circl, the other site's privacy policy applies.
Advertising
Some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are labeled and kept separate from event listings, and they never appear in the weekly email.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to Circl and other websites.
- Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners show you ads based on your visits to Circl and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors' personalized ads at aboutads.info.
- If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.

Cookies
Circl's own cookies are only the ones it needs to work: sign-in cookies that keep you logged in, and before launch, a cookie for preview access. Google and its advertising partners also set cookies to show and measure ads; see Advertising for how to opt out.
Email
The weekly email is opt-in. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also turn it off on your profile. Sign-in emails are sent only when you request them.
How long we keep information
- Account details, preferences, saved events and feedback: while your account exists.
- Records of weekly emails sent: while your account exists, to avoid sending duplicates.
- Waitlist emails: until we no longer need them for launch updates, or until you ask us to remove yours.
- Server logs and analytics: according to our providers' retention periods.
Your choices
- Update your display name, preferences and email settings on your profile and preferences pages.
- Delete your account at any time from your profile page. This immediately removes your profile, preferences, saved events, feedback and email settings. You can also email support@ensourceone.com from the address on your account to delete it or to get a copy of your information, and we'll respond within 30 days.
- Unsubscribe from the weekly email with the link in any email.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us to exercise them.
Children
Circl isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Some listed events are restricted to adults 21 and over.
Security
We use encrypted connections and database access rules that limit who can read each piece of information. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you think something is wrong.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For significant changes, we'll also let account holders know by email or on the site.
